My method is generally to listen to the Furthur sets with setlists that I think are really cool. They tend to do some different combinations of songs and I like to hear how they go together. I don't listen to every show but a lot of the setlists are so intriguing that I have to check them out.

I must note that the band is excellent live. I've seen them a few times and they have yet to disappoint. When they fist started playing together they were good but not nearly as cohesive as they are now. They really play as a unit and have adopted a jamming style that I haven't heard from other bands out there...and it definitely isn't a copy of the Grateful Dead. I think the people that say that arent really listening or don't know what they are listening to.

I suggest anyone and everyone check them out live for sure.
